After 8 Cocktail Recipe

Nothing beats an after 8 after a massive Christmas dinner, except maybe an After 8 cocktail! This minty little number is the perfect finish to your festivities, combining creme de menthe with cream and Oleo Saccharum syrup for a balanced finish. Our Candy Cane inspired cocktail recipe is definitely one to try this year!

Ingredients:

  • 25ml Gin
  • 25ml Creme de Menthé
  • 25ml double cream
  • 25ml milk
  • 15ml Oleo Saccharum
  • 6 mint leaves

Preparation:

  • Place all the ingredients in a Boston shaker with 6 mint leaves.
  • Shake until ice cold.
  • Strain over ice into a rocks glass.
  • Shake with mint and strain in a rocks glass over ice.
Garnish with a candy cane for a fun finish and extra treat when you’re finished!
